COMPETITOR WRISTBANDS:

All T.F.E participants are asked to sign in at the T.F.E registration desk (lobby beside T.F.E sales counter) to receive their competitor wristband. The wristband is to be worn throughout the duration of the event (March 19-March 22). If lost or removed the wristband will not be replaced - no exceptions. The competitor wristband allows performers full access to backstage, change rooms, warm-up room and orchestra seating access. The wristband also serves as a ticket for the Clash of the Student Body (see below for Clash details).

• COACHES AND CHOREOGRAPHERS:

Coaches and choreographers are able to obtain generic paper wristbands by visiting Julie at the tech table. Coaches and choreographers' wristbands will not allow them access to orchestra seating nor will they serve as a ticket for The Clash of the Student Body. All coaches and choreographers must purchase a ticket if they wish to attend the Clash on Saturday evening.

Venue policies:

• Bare feet are never permitted at any time in public areas.
• Tap shoes should be worn on stage and in designated backstage areas only.
  
• All dancing is restricted to the stage and rehearsal area only. Dancing is not permitted in the loading dock or in any hallways in the building.
• Dancers must wear full-soled footwear in the Atrium and theatre auditorium.
  
• Facility spaces are to be left clean following any event, by all users.
• Rack & Roll bags and other large luggage/bags must be kept against the walls.
• LAC is not responsible for any personal belongings
• Loading Dock entrance at Living Arts Drive is for facility staff and authorized event use for loading and unloading only.
• All rehearsal activity must be kept to the designated rehearsal area. This includes makeup application and removal, costume changing and warming up. The loading dock is not a rehearsal area.

Important info for participants and spectators:

O DAY:

O Day will take place on Friday March 20th starting at 11am. Each team is invited to have two members represent their team to participate in the Kick Off at 11am in the Atrium (venue lobby)! All T.F.E participants are welcome to participate in the O Day festivities being held in the Atrium (venue lobby) from 11:00am-4:00pm. All activities are FREE for T.F.E dancers! It's going to be a blast!!!!

CLASH OF THE STUDENT BODY SATURDAY MARCH 21, 2026 @7:30PM:

Clash of the Student Body is a special event within the competition where T.F.E pulls out all the stops to give the dancers a memorable experience and show they will never forget!!

• Clash of the Student Body Tickets:

Clash of the Student Body is a ticketed event. Tickets will become available for purchase on Monday March 16th at 12:00pm. You can purchase tickets online through the link provided on our website homepage or through the LAC box office. Go to our homepage for FULL details.

• Clash is FREE for T.F.E Dancers:

T.F.E Dancers will be able to use their competitor wristbands as tickets for the Clash. There is no additional charge for T.F.E dancers.

• Clash of the Student Body Pay Per View Livestream:

There is a separate streaming link provided on our website homepage which is pay per view exclusively for The Clash. The Clash livestream can be purchased starting on Monday March 16th @ 12:00pm.

 The entire remainder of the competition with the exception of The Clash, will be live-streamed through our regular streaming link FREE of charge.

Seating Protocols & regular T.F.E competition Livestream:
Throughout the competition, the dancers are the VIPs and as such the Orchestra level seating will be made priority for them.

Seat saving will not be permitted. Personal belongings such as bags and jackets left on chairs will be removed.

We encourage extended family and friends to take advantage of the FREE livestream found on the homepage of bedance.ca. We are committed to keeping the venue comfortable and will not overcrowd.

SUNDAY EVENING AT T.F.E:

On Sunday evening following dinner break during the final session of dance and final Championship Awards the entire orchestra level will be closed to spectators. Spectators will have the option to find seating in the dress circle and balcony only. The full orchestra seating is reserved exclusively for T.F.E competitors - no exceptions.

If you are planning to attend the competition on Sunday please do so with the understanding that once the main auditorium is full there will be no further options available for seating.

SEAT SAVING IS NOT PERMITTED:

Spectators are not permitted to save seats. Jackets, bags, etc. placed on seats will be removed.

T.F.E. is designed for the students, and your experience is our priority!
