GUIDELINES FOR CHANGE ROOMS AND REHEARSAL SPACE:

• Parents are not permitted in rehearsal room or backstage.

PROGRAMS/STREAMING:

• Link to online program available on the Be Dance website on the dates of the scheduled competition.
• Note: Souvenir programs will be available for purchase on-site for those who prefer a hard copy. Please note that quantities are limited.
• Entry numbers are not finalized until published in the Be Dance event programs and online link, therefore making it your best reference throughout the course of the weekend.
• All performances and awards ceremonies will be live streamed from the Be Dance website homepage.
  

PROPS:

We cannot guarantee that storage space will be provided for props. Please be prepared to load props in and out daily if needed. Backstage access will be provided 1 hour prior to show times for prop arrival.

MUSIC:

• Studio Owners/Directors can submit music directly through their DanceBug account.
• Accepted Music Formats: .wav, .mp3, .m4a, or .mp4
• Non Compatible Media Formats: .mov and .qt (QuickTime music files)

BACKUP MUSIC:

• We ask that all Studio Directors have backup copies on hand at the event.
• A USB, iPod, iPad, laptop or cellphone can be used for backup music ONLY.
• Provide Adapters (if needed).

NOTE:

Teachers are responsible to play backup music. We ask that teachers are present at the music table to give any special cues. We cannot guarantee that a pitch control change can be precisely made. It is best to pre-pitch all music to avoid technical issues.

FOOD & DRINK:

Hotel restaurant “Maple Pub” provides a great lunch and dinner dining (outdoor patio) and take out option for hotel guests. Conveniently located one floor below Legacy Hall where the competition is held. Other great dining options include "Eclipse" restaurant located in the main pavilion building.

VENUE ACCESS:

Doors to change rooms will open one hour prior to show time each morning. Venue Parking is free.

Dance Competition Booking Instructions

Reservations by phone open February 3 at 8:00 AM

Option 1: Phone Reservation (please do not call before feb. 3)
Call the Deerhurst Resort reservations team at 1-800-461-4393

The phone lines open exactly at the designated booking time for your competition. Calls placed before this time will not go through and will not be queued.

Option 2: Online Booking Link
Use the booking link below to enter a virtual waiting line. Once it is your turn, you will be able to complete your reservation online.
Waiting room links are competition specific.
The link can be accessed up to 15 minutes prior to the reservation opening time.
The link remains active for 24 hours after the booking window opens.

IMPORTANT: When booking your stay, please keep in mind that while the main pavilion rooms are very popular due to their location in the same building as the competition, the pavilion spans four floors and is not intended to accommodate all Be Dance attendees. The room block includes a wide range of options throughout the Deerhurst Resort property. This includes the Summit Lodges, which feature kitchens, comfortable sleeping accommodations for up to six guests (depending on room type), and a shared living space that is perfect for larger groups, studio families, and parents who want to relax and enjoy a mini getaway together.
